Here at Reptile Cymru we are happy to welcome your pets back for periods when you’re unable to care for them yourself. This is most commonly holiday boarding, but can also be if you’re unwell, or having renovations done – or any reason when you’d like a professional to care for your animals.

Reptiles, including snakes, lizards and tortoises can be boarded in our own enclosures at Reptile Cymru. These enclosures are fully sanitized between residents, fully equipped with individual heating, UVB lighting, basking spots with cage guards and all controlled by thermostats. As these are temporary enclosures we use newspaper as a substrate unless specifically requested. This allows us to keep the enclosure clean and easily see if your animal is eating and pooping okay!

Invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions should be brought to us in their own enclosures where possible.

Boarding costs include food which will be supplemented as best for the species, or as requested by you.

All animals boarded with us must be in good health unless we have discussed and agreed on animals with special needs.
