Reptile Systems D3 T8 5% UVB Lamp

UVB Bulbs are currently collection only from our store in Cardiff.

Reptile Systems produce a T8 5% UVB bulb designed specifically for reptiles that require a high quality UVB output in lower strengths, for example those that live beneath a rainforest canopy, where there would be heavy leaf cover which would naturally filter the UVB.

Reptile Systems also produce a T8 UVB Bulb in 10% strength for species with higher UVB needs, such as those that live in a desert environment, such as Bearded Dragons.

Reptile Systems UVB lamps should be replaced every 12 months. This is important even if the item is still giving out light as the Ultraviolet B light decays over time, which can only be detected using a UVB meter.

UVB is essential to most diurnal reptiles, as well as being beneficial to a great deal of species both nocturnal and diurnal. • 90cm (36″) – 30w – £19.99
• 105cm (42″) – 38w – £19.99

These UVB lamps need to be controlled with a T8 controller, such as the Arcadia controller, and the output can be increased with the use of a T8 reflector.
