Lignocel 70L

Lignocel bedding is a type of soft shavings made from untreated spruce and fir trees, making it perfect for snakes who like to like to burrow. It’s virtually dust free, very easy to spot clean and is also digestable and biodegradable, meaning there’s no need to be concerned if a small amount is accidentally ingested. It should be kept dry and damp areas removed immediately as it is extremely absorbent.

Lignocel is very similar to Aspen bedding, but has slightly larger pieces and is slightly dustier. We consider Aspen bedding to be better for burrowing than Lignocel bedding, but it does tend to contain more dust and Lignocel can be easier to clean as the small pieces clump together even better.
