This setup is ideal for smaller snake species such as Hognose snakes, House Snakes, Garter Snakes, smaller species of Milk Snake and many more. It’s suitable as an starter setup for a corn snake, king snake or other colubrids, and the silver plus is suitable as a starter setup for a hatchling royal, but we recommend you look into our larger setups for these species.

36x18x18″ Small Snake Setup – Silver – £230

The silver package removes the heat mat and replaces it with a ceramic heater and cage guard to protect your snake. Heating with a ceramic is more efficient and can maintain higher temperatures, as well as allowing for burrowing without risking the heat mat being slept on (or under!). Heating from above mimics the way they receive heat in nature, heating the air and surface rather than heating from below. It’s a very inexpensive upgrade from the bronze package so we highly recommend it. This should be used as a minimum for burrowing snakes who are likely to burrow under the substrate and sit directly on or under a heat mat.
