Calci Worms are the larvae of the Black Soldier Fly and are a very nutritious livefood. They are extremely high in calcium whilst being low in fat. They are packed in peat and there is no need to gut load them or dust them with calcium before feeding because of their nutritional content. Calciworms are the only naturally occuring livefood that have a balanced calcium to phosphorous ratio. They should be stored at room temperature and not in direct light.

The number of calci worms in a tub may vary, each worm is approximately 10-15mm in length (similar in size to a waxworm) and the overall weight should be approximately 25g.
