Arcadia Lamp Guard Pro (20″-50″)

The Arcadia Lamp Guard is designed to fit over UVB bulbs and reflectors, guarding them from being touched by your reptile. This is important for any snakes in a vivarium with UVB bulbs, as they can wrap around the bulb and either damage it or themselves. It is hinged for easy access so you can change the bulb without removing the fitting. The mesh is designed to allow as much UVB through as possible. A standard mesh guard can lose as much as 40% of the vital UVB rays, but the Arcadia Lamp Guard Pro design only loses 15%.

The Arcadia Lamp Guard has been specially designed to fit over Arcadia bulbs, but it can also be used over other makes and models such as the Reptile Systems range we sell as long as you double check the sizing and ensure it will fit. The width of all the guards is 4″ and the depth 2″.
