60cm Exo Terra Glass Terrarium – Medium

Exo Terra have created a range of glass terrariums in a variety of sizes to suit a large number of species, from tiny inverts up to majestic chameleons or colonies of tree frogs.  

Exo Terra Glass Terrariums are ideal for species that require higher humidity or wetter environments, and are suitable for paludarium water setups as well as bioactive setups. With a firm mesh top and fitted lids (sold separately) it’s easy to add UVB and heat lamps. The front opens wide with double doors, which can be locked with the Exo Terra Padlock (sold separately) for extra security. The top removes completely for easy access and for cleaning. This Terrarium includes a Rock Terrarium Background which is fully removable. It’s easily cut and you can shape it to only half the background if you want to create a natural looking cliff.

Exo Terra Medium Glass Terrariums

Exo Terra Medium Glass Terrariums are 60cm in base which opens up being able to use them for larger groups of all of the reptiles listed in the small section, as well as potentially larger geckos such as leopard geckos and species of smaller skink such as ocellated skinks and sun sinks. The taller medium glass terrariums are good for small groups of arboreal gecko such as crested geckos and day geckos, and having plenty of space will encourage groups of amphibians to breed too!

For larger size enclosures, consider our Wooden Vivariums

Whilst Exo Terra Glass Terrariums are excellent for some species, for a lot of the snakes and lizards we sell for example leopard geckos, bearded dragons, yemen chameleons, panther chameleons, corn snakes, king snakes, royal pythons, our Wooden Vivariums and Wooden Vivarium Setups are more suitable. Wooden vivariums go up to much larger sizes, with up to 24″ depth and 8 foot in length! But for anything that requires a high amount of humidity and water in the enclosure, such as invertebrates, amphibians and some aboreal species of gecko, as well as bioactive setups, we recommend Exo Terra Glass Terrariums and have used them ourselves for many species successfully.
