Nocturnal Setups
Nocturnal setups are suitable for animals that are awake at night time, and asleep in the day. The main difference is that these setups do not come with UVB or UVB Starters. Night time geckos do not need the sun simulating UV rays in order to have the correct metabolic functions, unlike daytime lizards. You may want to exchange the white bulb for a red or blue bulb, to provide a more natural night time light, and can add a dimmer thermostat to control this bulb for just £39.99. Most snakes are nocturnal, as well as most species of gecko including the popular corn snakes, royal pythons, boa constrictors and leopard geckos.

Diurnal Setups
Diurnal setups are suitable for animals that are awake in the day time, and sleep at night. In the wild, these animals are exposed to UVB rays from the sun. This ultraviolet light is absorbed and is essential for correct metabolic function. These animals are most commonly lizards. Some examples of popular diurnal reptiles we sell are bearded dragons, water dragons, chameleons, monitors and tegus.
Diurnal setups include professionally manufactured wooden vivarium with toughened glass doors, heat mat, thermostat, UVB tube (10% or most appropriate), UVB starter, light fitting, light bulb, substrate, thermometer, hide & water bowl.
Arboreal Setups
Our arboreal setups (36" or taller in height) also include a branch in the price and are suitable for (nocturnal) arboreal snakes such as amazon tree boas and carpet pythons, or (diurnal) arboreal lizards such as chameleons.

We provide a starter kit that is suitable for young tortoises, or for an indoor enclosure on a cold day. We can also have professional tortoise tables made to any custom size.
Our starter kit includes indoor housing (plastic enclosure with open wire top), UVB lighting, Red Bulb and fitting, water bowl & feeding dish for £125.
If you do build your own tortoise table we are very happy to advise you on the most suitable lighting and heating methods - don't forget, if kept indoors, your tortoise will still need suitable UVB lighting and heating depending on temperatures.
